Witness appeal following burglary - Bletchley

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for information following a reported burglary in the Bletchley area. 

The incident occurred between approximately 10:00pm and 12:30am on Monday 24 August 2026 at an address on Windmill Hill Drive, MK3 7RS.

It is believed that four white males are targeting the rear of residential properties and using a tool to smash patio doors to gain entry. The offenders are believed to be selecting properties where they think the occupants are not at home.

As a crime prevention measure, residents are encouraged to make their homes appear occupied when unattended. This could include leaving a light on or using timer-controlled lighting during periods of absence or overnight.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Zoe Meechan, based at Milton Keynes Police Station, said:

“We are appealing to anyone who may have information relating to this incident, or who has CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage from the area between the relevant times, to please come forward.

We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who witnessed suspicious activity, including individuals loitering in the area or vehicles driving slowly through residential streets.
